2009 Kidz Choir
Dear Parents,
Thank you so much for allowing your child to participate in our Kidz Choir at church. It is a wonderful way for kids of all ages to “make a joyful noise unto the Lord.” We are preparing songs for Easter and will perform in big church either on Easter Sunday, or the week before. We will also be going back to the nursing home to play. We want all of our children to participate and have a great time in bell choir, but we do ask that everyone follow these simple guidelines:
- All kids ages 4 years & older may participate in bell choir.
Kids must be in “regular attendance” for bell choir practice in order to play in performances. We understand there may be absences due to sickness, travel, or other circumstances, but every effort made to attend will be greatly appreciated.
Kids who do not “regularly attend” practice will not be allowed to participate in performances.
"regular attendance” will be considered 75% of practices for a performance
dinner is provided for all kids in bell choir. At this time dinner is at 6:00 in the CLC Dining Room. (time is subject to change)
Kids in 3rd grade & up will be ringing 2 different colored bells.
Kids in 2nd grade and younger will be ringing 2 bells of the same color.
Kids not participating in bell choir are asked to go to the Sunday evening worship service in the sanctuary.
We are so thankful for all of the children in our church! They are such a joy and each one brings a wonderful gift to our children’s ministry. Thank you for sharing them with us!
