Business Meeting: Wednesday night at 6:30
Pictorial Directories: Our Pictorial Directories are ready for pick-up today. Tables, with directories in alphabetical order, are in the CLC foyer. If you requested a printed copy on your form, then your name will be taped to your booklet. Be sure to let us know if you see any errors and we will correct the on-line version and place corrections in bulletin, so corrections can be penciled in.
Disaster Relief for Tornado Victims: We will continue this special offering period thru Sun, Feb 19th, to give our people more time to give if desired. Please mark your offering envelope “Disaster Relief”, and if giving by check, write “Disaster Relief “ on the memo line.
Nursery Workers: Since Ann, our nursery worker has left us; we will begin staffing the nursery with volunteers. Therefore, there are sign-up sheets in the vestibule and side hallway. If you can help in this very important area, we would appreciate it. Indicate any preference you might have (Sunday School hour; AM Worship; PM Worship, or Weds night prayer meeting).
Valentine Project: Have you heard about the Valentine Project? We will be sharing God’s love in our community on Sunday afternoon, February 12th at 3:00 p.m. Our children will be taking goodie boxes and bags with tracts to our neighbors here around our church. If you would like to help by baking goodies OR helping take our children around please see Charlene or Cecelia!
Beth Moore Study: If you are interested in Beth Moore’s study on “ESTHER”, please let Charlene know as soon as possible to set up times and order books.
Renew: This is a unique event for women from all over the State and for all ages. It will be on February 25, 2012 from 9:00 until 3:00 at Westwood Baptist Church, Alabaster. The cost is $35.00 and includes lunch. The deadline to register is February 12. Please give your money to Brenda Armstrong. The bus will be taken if there are enough women to go, otherwise, private cars will be taken and will leave the church at 7:30 a.m.
WMU: WMU will meet Feb. 14 at 1:00 p.m.
Because you’re all so wonderful, so kind, and thoughtful, too—It wouldn’t do to miss this chance to send warm thanks to you. Family of Vera Allen
