EASTER 2010 AT OAK GROVE
Wow, what a great Easter celebration we experienced at First Baptist of Oak Grove! It all started with the 'Across Alabama' campaign:
1. Praying 2. Engaging 3. Sowing 4. Going 5. Harvesting
The Lord blessed the efforts with two morning worship times, one at 8:15 a.m., and one at 10:30 a.m. We had a nice crowd at each service as Bro. Max shared through the acronym ...
C - R - O - S - S
....a very clear sermon about what Christ did for us at Calvary!
Todd Dean and Jimmy Early blessed us through their solo's,
and the Children's Bell Choir did a great job during the 10:30 service.
Saturday, prior to the Sunday celebration, there was an Easter Egg Hunt at Bro. Max & Charlene's home. A great time was had by all!
Now scoll down and sneak a peak at some of the Kodak moments of Easter 2010!

"The Resurrection Story"
The collage below will help you to understand how much our 2 & 3 yr. olds and 4 & 5 yr. olds, responded to Linda Sanders', "Resurrection Egg Story". They listened intently, and participated with sweet little comments, as she pulled 12 little symbols of the Easter story from the plastic eggs. They were truly captivated!

"2 & 3 Year Old... Sunday School Class & The Bell Choir"
The Bell Choir and the 2 & 3 yr. old class enjoyed 'serving the Lord' with their Bell's, Palm Branch, and a simple felt board. The story of Christ was told through many creative ways.
